Once you reach level 15, just drag and drop your second set of weapons into the second weapon slot (below the first with a little curved arrow back and forth I think, to indicate you can swap between the two sets of weapons). Then in combat, just hit the button to which you have bound the Swap Weapons command and you'll swap to the second set. There the weapon level is Edgewalkers and the value is 0 - and it is working. Another example could be the Old Soldier character. There the weapon level is Metal Purity and the value is set to 1. MetalPurity has 002, 003, Industrial 004, and Industrial 005. I'm pretty sure the 1 means the character has a 003 weapon. Combat is a primary part of Kenshi, and all combat is done with weapons. Weapons are items that are split into multiple categories, each dealing different types and amounts of damage. Armour is designed to reduce damage, and can be bypassed by using certain weapons. Weapons can be looted, purchased from a Weapons Trader, or crafted by the player.
In Rome if you took a faction like Germany it was a challenge to break the Romans especially after they get their advance troops. Rome 2 vs attila. Troops are rarely even with technology in history. MTW2 just feels unrealistic with each fraction being so well balanced.

Do you prefer blunt heavy weapons, or pole arms, or traditional swords? There's so many different weapons to make and they all seem to have their own strengths and weaknesses. Until I get a good smith I'm selling everything, but eventually I want to outfit my crew with a good weapon set. Also can my smith eventually make the best tier if their skill gets high enough?. I haven't done any smithing since many versions ago, but keep the following in mind:Your characters only train Dextery (faster attack speed) when they land a hit, and the less weight a weapon has, the better the DEX experience gain. IUNNO LOLWhatever you will settle for as your standard armament, make sure they have their DEX up to 30 at least before giving them slower weapons, or they'll be hardly useful unless heavily micromanaged.Interestingly, you will want to give them crappy, low damage weapons while DEX training, so more people can get a hit (and therfore delicious DEX experience) on a foe.To answer your question about the top grade: Nope.
