Gibbed Save Editor Mass Effect 1

 admin

There are a few ways to mod your game in ME1 using Modio's built-in hex editor. Of course it is much more primitive compared to Gibbed for ME2 as everything is really just numbers/letters.It is doable though, you can change stuff like your omni-gel and money as well as modifying experience and to a limited degree modifying your Shep as a different race (done by copying his character code and switching it with the model code of team members or NPCs)Of course it is quite unstable if not done properly and files can easily corrupt and immediately auto-delete themselves if you are not very very precise. Of course that is not a problem since you can just make backup copies of unmodded saves just in case and once you edit something if it does not immediately corrupt then it never will.Edit: you can modify the 360 save games at any time after you get off the Normandy at the start of the game.

Best time to start editing is right after getting Ashley. Higher chances of the modifications not working properly before that point for some reason, but that is just 15 minutes into the game, not exactly a super long wait if you are willing to take the time to learn modding the game in the first place.Edited by Kriztaen, 11 September 2010 - 05:51 PM. I don't know how to do this, as I have only modded using Gibbed's Save Editor, which is very organized. Looking at hex codes, it all looks like a series of scrambled letters to me. If there was a tutorial on how to do this, or even how to understand what the hex codes mean, could you point me towards it, or tell me? I thank you, and please forgive my lack of experience of modding. Stratgtar565 wrote.Well, how would you go about modding the hex? Open the game in Modio, then in resigner click on the option on the bottom left that says 'Edit File'. This should open a hex list.

There should be 3 lists on the left side to choose from. Click on the one that says has 'player.savr' at the start of it.2. What you need to do is find the value that you wish to change in game (exact number of exp/credits/etc.) then use any old hex converter to change it to hex code. Example: you have 4200 experience in game, using a hex converter (easily found through google without needing to download anything) the converted state of 4200 would be 00001068.3. Now on the bottom right of the Modio hex editor there should be a search function with the default search option below it saying hex. Put the number in (in this case the 00001068 from before) and search for it.4. When you find it simply change it to any desired number you may want by first picking how much you want, converting that with a hex converter and replacing the original number (eg.

Hello all, I'm looking for a ME1 savegame editor. I've looked all over for an ME1 save game editor, mostly so I could play all three of.

00001068 - 4200xp changed to 000D278A - 862090xp which is just 10xp from max level 60. You won't auto level up but your next kill or codex find will give you all the levels as soon as you get the xp needed.)5.

Save

Click on 'Open in Resigner' on the bottom left and choose 'Save to Device'. Please make sure though that you always have backup original saves just in case as if you make a mistake with the editing it will corrupt the file which will auto-delete itself the moment you try to load it. No worries though, if a file loads properly and you see that the modding worked then the file will not corrupt in the future. That is just a basic example of how it works.

Hey guys, I'm really sorry if this is a repost, I'm pretty new to the forums. Recently, Brad mentioned that he'd found a decent save editor for the ME series, and it piqued my interested. I've bought every game in the series, but after losing my hard drive I lost my saves for 1 and 2 and lack the time to replay through them. I own 3, and have wanted to play it for some time, but about 6 months ago when I perused for a solution to save editing, my options seemed really limited, difficult to use, and generally shitty. Is there something out there for the PC that will help me convey that I saved the Rachni Queen? That Wrex is king?

That Liara and I beat up the Shadow Broker? Thanks for reading.TLDR: Please, I need a save editor so I can play ME3 on PC cuz I lost my saves like Brad.
